You mostly drove me to distraction! 
We had some fun adventures though? Do you remember that time when we rode alongside the brook?

You were in front and decided we should turn around and go home. You could not be any more nervous as it was narrow and there was a steep drop on the side probably about 15’ then it levelled out.  :I’m still not sure how you did it but I looked up just in time to see you launch out over the steep side!! 

Time stood still that day, then ran really slowly as my brain tried to make sense of what had just happened.  Then you were on the bottom, with your scooter on top of you and I was frantically trying to climb down to    you and you were moaning (very loudly,) ‘Lesley! Oh LESLEY! I NEED AN AMBULANCE, I think I’ve broken my leg!’ And I’m SAYING ‘it’s ok I’m nearly there don’t worry? Don’t move!’ And these 2 women suddenly appeared from nowhere and stood you up. You were all intact...not one single bruise or broken bone! You had grass and twigs all over you, coming out at every possible angle! What a sight we must have looked limping home! You never tried to do a 3 point turn there again.

Then there was the drs waiting room. You always insisted on going in on your scooter, no way would you walk...You didn’t know we were behind you...wincing every time you ran over someone’s toes. I think you said     sorry that day more times than in the rest of your life put together.

The Chocolate cake. Alan loves chocolate cake you said. So, I made you one for just for you and Alan and I   brought it to yours. Alan never got a piece though cos you sat there and ate the whole lot in one go!

We had so many stories.
