Another Christmas without you but I didn't forget you. I know you will love the flowers I took down this morning. It brightens the area where you and Dad are and I know he would like them too. I miss you Mum and I think about you just about every day. xxx

Today would have been your 80th birthday and we would have been eating cake after a visit to the carvery. I took flowers down that I knew you would like and I had a drive round to the places that I associate with you. Your house looks the same as it did and the blinds look like the ones you had. There is a big new metal shed in place of the wooden one where you kept your scooter. I drove over to Sainsbury in Hazel Grove while listening to Elvis like we used to. When he sang "Can't Help Falling In Love", I could almost see you next to me singing along and I had to fight back the tears. I bought a cream cake to celebrate your birthday, it was the same one you used to get me. I miss you Mum. I have lost my way since you went and I wish we could go back home. Happy 80th Birthday xxxx
